Tony Racciatti is the Krav Maga Head Instructor at the Krav Maga Contact Combat and Contemporary Fitness Center in Ramsey, NJ. He has been a private student of Rhon Mizrachi, Krav Maga New York's head instructor, since 1996. Tony has also completed the instructor's certification course under Haim Zut, the highest ranking Krav Maga instructor in the world.

Mr. Racciatti has a previous background in Shotokan Karate and street fighting under Kazumi Tabata and Sensei Joseph Lepore. Tony studied Kubotan with the Defense Tactics Institute and under John Peters.

In an interview by Mary Kay Otterstedt from firstathlete.com, Tony answers questions about Krav Maga self defense and the issues of safety and security. In addition, he has been featured on Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends” as a self defense expert, speaking about Krav Maga, women’s self defense and providing live demonstrations of Krav Maga self defense techniques.

Tony continues to work in private security, and has for many years, including on-set security for HBO's “The Sopranos”, and is now a special consultant for The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA.

Tony Racciatti is also a professional musician and a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He also operates Professional Music Studio, Inc. in Nutley, New Jersey and is endorsed by MRP Drums and Sabian Cymbals.
